 This one-day seminar with Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) Head of Editing, Bill Russo will concentrate on the creative process involved in editing.

Discover how editing can dramatically influence an audience's emotional response and change meaning in a story. Other topics include: the creative contribution of editing, the development of editing styles, good, bad and mediocre editing, the role of sound editing and its contribution to the storytelling process.

Bill Russo has been an editor for more than 30 years, spending a substantial part of that time with the ABC. The vast majority of the projects Bill has edited have been film-based dramas and documentaries including the award winning Blue Murder, Scales of Justice, Edens Lost, Wildside, Come in Spinner, Two Friends, Frontier, Police Rescue, See How They Run, Police State, and Joh's Jury.
