Two exciting positions at ScreenWest - Director, Production and Development and Producer Associate - are currently open for applicants. Applications for both positions close at 4.00pm November 24, 2008.

The position of Producer Associate is responsible for co-ordinating the funding assessment process for the Production Fund and the Matched Prime Time Television Fund; to assist location enquiries for prospective major films wanting to be shot in WA; and to provide support to the Director, Production and Development on industry and funding related matters. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position with an appointment pool running for 36 months from the initial appointment. A number of applicants will be selected and fixed terms negotiated for periods of up to 12 months, commencing early 2009. The position of Director, Production and Development oversees management of ScreenWest funding programs. The successful candidate provides strategic advice to the ScreenWest Board, Chief Executive, ScreenWest staff and to the screen industry. They will lead the design, development and implementation of industry support programs and policy. The position also creates opportunities for developing and financing projects in partnership with other organisations. The Director, Production and Development position is a full-time, fixed-term contract position for 3 years with the possibility of extension.
