D1.4 Suzhou XMediaLab travel assistance

Applications are now open for Western Australian digital producers and animators interested in attending the XMediaLab at the Suzhou Industrial Park in China on May 8-10.  Applications close on Friday April 4.

ScreenWest will fund up to $3,500 each for four WA animators and digital content creators to attend the Lab, which brings together animation experts from all over the world. The grant will cover airfares, accommodation, registration fees, visa costs and per diems.

To apply, fill in an Application Form and attach:

  • a one page CV
  • a statement about what benefits you would gain from attending
  • a short outline and marketing strategy of any projects in development

Applicants are strongly advised to contact ScreenWest's Producer Intern Mala Sujan on 9224 7346 to discuss their application.

Applications close on Friday April 4.  Applications will be assessed on a competitive basis and successful applicants will be notified by Wednesday April 9.

Please note: Successful applicants will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements.  The event organisers offer a choice of two hotels and transfers from Shanghai to Suzhou and will also provide a letter to assist participants apply for visas.
